Responsibilities
- Design and deliver a reusable agentic orchestration framework for multi-agent pipelines, validation, confidence-based routing, and escalation.
- Define API versioning, backward compatibility, deprecation, and operational standards for shared framework adoption.
- Implement agent identity, authentication, authorization, guardrails, governance enforcement, and risk-based control pathways.
- Create certification criteria, reference implementations, starter templates, and development patterns for reusable AI components.
- Set technical direction for engineers and guide architecture decisions across participating domain teams.
- Evaluate deviations from established patterns and determine when the shared framework should evolve.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience developing large-scale AI or ML platforms.
- Demonstrated experience designing and shipping a reusable framework, SDK, or platform abstraction adopted by at least three engineering teams.
- Experience architecting and delivering production ML systems end to end and setting technical direction for other engineers.
- Deep knowledge of representation learning, embeddings, vector similarity search, retrieval-augmented generation, regression, classification, forecasting, and model interpretability.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and agentic architectures, including multi-agent orchestration, confidence gating, and escalation patterns.
- Strong Python and software engineering expertise, including framework or library design, API stability, testing, versioning, deprecation, distributed systems, and ML technologies.
- Experience in complementary areas such as service identity, authorization, AI security controls, multimodal or vision-language models, LLMOps, vector databases, geospatial data, spatial indexing, entity resolution, imagery, LiDAR, drone processing, C++, Java, or edge AI.
