Responsibilities
- Guide the technical design and development of highly complex, cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
- Define, document, and oversee application designs, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
- Consult with business users on requirements gathering, system design, configuration, and implementation.
- Coordinate project timelines, tasks, cost estimates, and time estimates.
- Create, review, and coordinate unit test plans and identify testing process improvements.
- Develop program specifications and ensure application performance targets are achieved.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical problems with technical staff, clients, and business lines.
- Define and document data, workflow, logical process, operating system, interface, standards, service-level, and configuration requirements.
- Monitor application operating efficiency and recommend technical improvements.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for business lines when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Generally a minimum of eight years of experience.
- Extensive experience with vendor evaluation and testing.
- Subject matter expertise in the development life cycle, IT controls, IT standards, procedures and policies, design, architecture, application maintenance, management, development tools, and data, process, events, and objects.
