Responsibilities
- Design and implement document automation templates for trading, reporting, and regulatory processes.
- Gather requirements, scope projects, and translate client business needs into scalable automation logic.
- Build and enhance client templates using JavaScript and/or Python.
- Analyze manual workflows to identify process improvement, optimization, and automation opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior developers, project leads, internal teams, and investment-bank stakeholders.
- Maintain quality, consistency, accuracy, and compliance while following JIRA workflows, SLAs, and internal development processes.
- Communicate complex concepts and project information to clients under senior guidance.
Requirements
- Academic background in a STEM discipline.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and genuine interest in capital markets.
- Analytical, logical, detail-oriented, proactive, and intellectually curious approach.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Basic familiarity with or willingness to learn coding and scripting, such as JavaScript or Python, preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with financial products or documentation such as term sheets and confirmations is advantageous but not required.
