Responsibilities
- Design detailed, modular solution architectures aligned with business needs, established patterns, and roadmaps.
- Lead solution design for small-to-medium initiatives and contribute to larger architecture workstreams.
- Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure implementation follows architecture principles.
- Produce sequence diagrams, interface contracts, deployment models, and integration flows.
- Apply cloud-native and MACH principles while embedding security, observability, and integration.
- Provide architectural guidance, translate decisions into technical designs and development tasks, and lead the Architecture Review Board.
- Embed identity, encryption, data protection, compliance, and risk-mitigation practices in solution designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience in hands-on solution architecture or technical leadership roles.
- Hands-on experience across multiple programming languages and technologies.
- Experience designing and delivering cloud-native solutions, ideally using AWS.
- Proficiency in integration design patterns, API architecture including REST and event-driven approaches, and microservices.
- Understanding of application, data, infrastructure, integration, and security architecture domains.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and agile delivery.
- Relevant experience in retail site or store systems, payment processing, EV charging, supply chain, or consumer-facing applications.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification and exposure to IoT, RFID, Digital Twin, or Telematics are desirable.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and architecture recommendation skills.
