Delivery Solution Architect
GE VernovaResponsibilities
- Design and implement GE GridOS DERMS solutions to meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with Technical Leads and Solution Specialists on solution architecture and delivery practice development.
- Support DevOps deployment of GE GridOS DERMS solutions into client environments.
- Engage utility clients to understand distributed energy resource impacts and translate business challenges into requirements and system designs.
- Optimize software deployment through automation and scripting.
- Lead client-specific testing, validation, and training.
- Create business cases and product requirements based on client processes and policies.
- Manage technical risks, analyze performance data, and support pre-sales and expansion efforts.
Requirements
- Ability to develop and deploy enterprise-grade software and experience with database connectors.
- Understanding of distributed energy resources, distribution planning, and SCADA systems.
- Expertise in requirements management, including converting business needs into design specifications and test cases.
- Strong IT enterprise architecture skills covering IT networks, data flow, and complex software application deployments.
- Ability to architect complex systems and solve problems using emerging technologies.
- Formal education in engineering or a similar power-systems-focused program is preferred but not required.
