Product Engineer (React)

Responsibilities
- Build and evolve complex, production-grade user interfaces using React.
- Own frontend architecture decisions involving component design, state management, data flow, rendering behavior, and performance.
- Implement middle-tier logic, business logic, and API orchestration connecting frontend experiences to backend services and data systems.
- Collaborate with backend and platform engineers on APIs, integrations, system boundaries, scalability, and technical design.
- Ship maintainable, high-quality end-to-end product features and influence frontend architecture across major areas of the UI.
Requirements
- Expert-level experience with React and deep knowledge of component architecture, hooks, state management, rendering behavior, and performance.
- Experience building and maintaining large, production React applications with strong frontend engineering fundamentals.
- Strong understanding of UI architecture, client-side data flow, browser behavior, performance optimization, code quality, maintainability, and user experience.
- Solid middle-tier and backend awareness, including business logic, API orchestration, backend system design, data models, and integration patterns.
- Ability to reason about scalability, reliability, and system tradeoffs.
- Experience with Next.js and/or TypeScript in production environments is strongly preferred.
