Responsibilities
- Monitor and support all phases of application development, including analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Develop Oracle database objects including tables, stored procedures, functions, packages, views, and triggers to implement business logic.
- Analyze and optimize database queries and application performance, identifying and resolving performance issues.
- Analyze database content and quality, recommend data-management procedures, and develop data processes.
- Design and implement database application enhancements and optimization solutions.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups to recommend programming solutions and support application systems.
- Use RLM packaging scripts, GitHub, and Jenkins to support code deployment and releases.
- Recommend security measures during post-implementation analysis and ensure required procedures and operating standards are followed.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts while operating with limited direct supervision.
- Assess and manage operational, compliance, and control risks in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with Oracle RDBMS.
- Strong Oracle database development expertise, including tables, stored procedures, functions, packages, views, and triggers.
- Strong experience with query tuning, performance optimization, database analysis, and data-management processes.
- Experience with RLM packaging scripts for code deployment, GitHub, and Jenkins.
- Experience with Java and J2EE development, including front-end work.
- Strong background in the financial services and banking industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, assess risk, and collaborate with users and technology teams.
