Base Salary
$159k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design enterprise applications, services, and solutions for large-scale technology projects.
- Define conceptual and high-level solution architectures aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture governance.
- Evaluate integration, reliability, performance, scalability, flexibility, and maintainability impacts.
- Coordinate architecture and product or service decisions across multiple development teams and IT domains.
- Lead domain analysis and create executable architecture, design artifacts, use-case models, and actor identification.
- Present designs and prototypes to audiences across disciplines and organizational levels.
- Advise architects and IT management on project status, strategies, scope, schedules, priorities, risks, development plans, and deployment.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and senior engineers.
- Consult with management and subject matter experts to resolve complex, cross-functional technology problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and at least 13 years of experience in a similar field.
- Significant experience with service-oriented architecture and designing and implementing multi-tier enterprise applications using .NET, SQL Server, and Microsoft technologies.
- Significant experience with web services, with REST preferred and SOAP/WCF a plus.
- Solid technical expertise and proficiency in solution architecture, including designing large projects spanning multiple high-performing systems.
- Ability to understand end-to-end business processes and cross-functional system relationships and interdependencies.
- Preferred experience with Windows Server administration, PowerShell scripting and automation, VMware webserver administration, Visual Studio and TFS source control administration, Jira issue tracking administration, F5 active-active datacenter deployments, and C# software development.
- Experience in the mortgage industry is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, organizational, decision-making, presentation, consultation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision and manage short- and long-term priorities.
