Base Salary
$149k - $221k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead migration of AI/ML platform services to AWS GovCloud while meeting compliance, security, and performance standards.
- Design and implement cloud-native ML infrastructure using AWS, SageMaker, ECS, EKS, and Lambda.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize deployed models and ML pipelines in GovCloud environments.
- Build secure data pipelines across national boundaries in accordance with FedRAMP requirements.
- Collaborate with product and design teams on AI features for the Customer Experience space.
- Architect scalable large-scale data-processing solutions and APIs for front-end applications.
- Automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, and redesign infrastructure for scalability.
- Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation supporting internal platforms and customer-facing production systems.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- US citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain access to secure AWS GovCloud environments.
- 5+ years of production software development experience using Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience deploying and operating services on Kubernetes, including Kubernetes-based deployment frameworks in regulated environments.
- Experience with distributed systems such as Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
- Experience with relational SQL, including Postgres.
- Experience with code-quality best practices and testing architectures on large codebases.
- Preferred: AWS services, AWS GovCloud or FedRAMP-compliant environments, AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty or Solutions Architect certification, ML model-serving platforms, Airflow or Kubeflow, Django or Spring, and NoSQL databases including ElasticSearch.
