Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications and APIs supporting Operations and Sustainment activities.
- Develop landing pages, user-facing applications, portals, user-management services, search capabilities, and backend integrations.
- Build and maintain Okta API integrations supporting identity federation, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and user lifecycle management.
- Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, web services, database-driven applications, and interfaces among internal systems, cloud services, identity providers, databases, and third-party platforms.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, releases, upgrades, deployments, patch management, and sustainment.
- Perform unit, integration, and regression testing; troubleshoot defects, performance bottlenecks, API failures, and integration issues.
- Support incident management, problem resolution, system monitoring, continuous improvement, documentation, architecture diagrams, API specifications, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with business analysts, system administrators, cybersecurity personnel, and other stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least four years of software development experience.
- Experience developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise applications and APIs, including web applications, RESTful services, API development, and system integration.
- Experience with identity and access management, authentication, user management, database-driven applications, relational databases, SQL development, and data integration.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with Okta, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, or other identity federation technologies.
- Experience using source code management tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability determination, Public Trust, Secret, or higher security clearance as required by the contract.
- Preferred qualifications include DHS or CISA program experience, large-scale enterprise API integration, operations and sustainment contract experience, cloud-platform experience, federal cybersecurity knowledge, and experience with ServiceNow, SharePoint, or Power Platform.
- Preferred certifications include Okta Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, AWS Developer Associate, Security+, Certified Scrum Developer, or equivalent technical certifications.
