Responsibilities
- Configure and support Veeva Vault Regulatory, Clinical, and/or Safety applications according to business and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain Vault object models, lifecycles, workflows, permissions, document types, and metadata.
- Support configuration changes, integrations, APIs, interfaces, and solutions using Java, HTML, CSS, Python, and Azure.
- Coordinate Vault release management, impact assessments, deployment planning, execution, migration, and post-deployment verification.
- Ensure configuration and deployment activities comply with GxP, validation, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain configuration specifications, impact assessments, test evidence, traceability, and other validation documentation.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Vault configuration, deployment incidents, defects, and change requests.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA, business SMEs, vendors, and Veeva teams to gather requirements and resolve issues.
- Support UAT execution, defect resolution, release readiness communication, and deployment status reporting.
- Maintain configuration, deployment, and validation documentation and use Jira, ALM, or equivalent tools for tracking and coordination.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in the Life Sciences or Healthcare industry.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience configuring Veeva Vault Regulatory, Clinical, or Safety applications.
- Strong understanding of GxP compliance, validation processes, release management, and multi-environment Vault deployments.
- Experience using Jira and ALM tools.
- Veeva Vault Admin Certification.
- Working knowledge of Azure cloud services.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience across multiple Vault domains, regulated-environment DevOps practices, Vault integrations and downstream systems, scripting or automation with Python, JavaScript, or Shell, and Veeva Vault releases and upgrades.
