Base Salary
$180k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own complex initiatives end-to-end, including design, implementation, and operation.
- Apply an AI-first mindset to software development and data exploration.
- Integrate with DSPs, SSPs, and third-party data providers.
- Build high-throughput, low-latency services with efficient caching.
- Implement observability, incident response, and capacity planning.
- Raise the technical bar through code review and mentorship.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in high-transaction systems.
- Drive test, monitoring, and automation coverage.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of expert-level JavaScript/Node backend experience.
- Strong grounding in distributed systems, including scaling and fault tolerance.
- Solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and systems design.
- Hands-on experience with distributed databases and streaming pipelines.
- Strong SQL/RDBMS, Linux, networking, and Git skills.
- Track record of code review and mentorship.
- Test-first mindset with automated testing experience.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- AdTech industry experience strongly preferred.
