Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, create, modify, and validate Windows-focused embedded and cloud-edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs.
  • Analyze user needs, software requirements, and time and cost constraints to design efficient software solutions.
  • Design and implement software modules for large-scale products and systems.
  • Lead and participate in design, coding, unit testing, debugging, and integration efforts.
  • Perform complex code reviews and regression tests, triage and fix issues, and ensure code quality.
  • Collaborate with hardware, systems, architecture, and test engineers on system-level solutions.
  • Write detailed technical documentation for complex software projects.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to other team members and contribute to significant organizational decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 4+ years of software engineering or related experience; alternatively, a master's degree plus 3+ years or a PhD plus 2+ years.
  • At least 2 years of experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • Preferred: master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Preferred: 8+ years of software engineering or related experience.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of database management software experience and 3+ years of API experience.
  • Preferred: 1+ year of experience with Git, Perforce, or a source code management system.
