Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain software components across the product stack.
- Develop maintainable software solutions for machine learning and machine vision sensors and user interfaces.
- Estimate, plan, and deliver complex functionality within Agile/Scrum teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global engineering teams to deliver customer-facing solutions.
- Participate in design and code reviews and resolve complex product and customer issues.
- Contribute to automated testing, CI, quality improvement, technical debt reduction, and long-term maintainability.
- Share knowledge and provide technical guidance when appropriate.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional software development experience delivering commercial software products.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, software architecture, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Deep expertise in embedded application and systems-level software development with C++ or desktop application development with C#/.NET and user interface technologies.
- Experience developing complex software systems in collaborative team environments.
- Experience with source control systems, code reviews, automated testing, and Agile software development practices.
- Ability to work across different layers of the software stack as product and business needs evolve.
- Ability to use AI-assisted development tools while validating generated output and applying sound engineering judgment.
- Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills in English.
- Preferred qualifications include a BSc or MSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; experience with Embedded Linux, Yocto, C++, C#, .NET, WPF, WinForms, Windows application development, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, machine vision, image processing, industrial automation, robotics, CI/CD pipelines, CMake, Docker, cross-platform environments, and globally distributed software teams.
