Base Salary

$160k - $271k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Drive build and release initiatives spanning build-system improvements, continuous integration, developer productivity, and code quality.
  • Provide Bazel build-system support to platform and application software teams across multiple product lines.
  • Develop tools and processes for code sharing in a large monorepo.
  • Support AI tools and automation for software development, issue tracking, release management, and documentation.
  • Identify and resolve software development bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate on Groovy CI/CD pipeline development in Jenkins.
  • Manage software branches and releases with Git and create high-quality technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field with relevant experience.
  • Significant software development experience with C/C++ and Python.
  • Experience with software build and release processes and troubleshooting complex systems.
  • Hands-on Linux experience and experience managing branches and releases with Git.
  • Experience creating high-quality technical documentation.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred experience includes Nix or Ansible, thread-safe embedded C++ applications, FDA or other regulated-industry software, and real-time operating systems such as QNX.
