Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate production-grade cloud services using C#/.NET and Kubernetes.
Develop and maintain REST, gRPC, and JSON-RPC APIs with durable contracts.
Integrate desktop clients and cloud services using distributed systems, messaging, eventing, and real-time communication patterns.
Use platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ and technologies such as WebSockets, SignalR, or gRPC streaming where appropriate.
Define and evolve Protobuf and/or JSON Schema contracts while maintaining compatibility across systems.
Integrate external and partner services and contribute to identity, access management, security, and compliant integrations.
Own solutions end to end from prototype through production and maintenance, including observability and operational support.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, testing, CI/CD, documentation, mentoring, and architecture decisions.
Support the integration of an acquired company and later take on broader business-area compliance and operational responsibilities.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience, preferred.
10+ years of professional experience building web APIs and cloud services.
Strong proficiency in C#/.NET for cloud services and APIs.
Experience integrating native desktop applications with cloud services, including serialization, schema evolution, performance, and large codebases.
Experience with streaming or bidirectional client/server communication and service-based or microservice-oriented architectures.
Experience with developer platforms, SDKs, extensibility frameworks, event-driven systems, or messaging systems is preferred.
Ability to work with native desktop codebases; C++ experience is strongly preferred.
CAD/CAM, engineering software, or manufacturing systems experience is preferred.
Strong system design, debugging, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and solution-ownership skills.
Experience using AI-enabled tools or automation to improve productivity, or ability to learn and apply such technologies at scale.
