Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable Java and Spring Boot microservices with REST APIs and clear OpenAPI/Swagger contracts.
- Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka or equivalent messaging systems and build data access layers with JPA/Hibernate and Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Develop React and TypeScript UI components, integration layers, and administrative interfaces for end-to-end workflows.
- Build reliable, observable, reusable, and secure services with transaction safety, idempotency, error recovery, logging, metrics, and traces.
- Use AI coding assistants for development, refactoring, debugging, documentation, and test generation while validating correctness, security, performance, and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews, design discussions, architecture decisions, and Agile delivery.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues using observability tools such as Dynatrace Platform.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 2–5 years of software development experience in product or enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 or later, Spring Boot, REST API design, and microservices architecture.
- At least 1–2 years of experience with React.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with SQL, Oracle or PostgreSQL, Hibernate or JPA, event-driven systems such as Kafka, caching such as Redis, CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and automated testing.
- Strong debugging and production issue analysis skills.
- Practical experience using AI coding assistants and reviewing, validating, and production-hardening AI-generated code.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document services and explain technical decisions.
- Healthcare domain experience and familiarity with FHIR, HL7, C-CDA, HIPAA, and PHI/PII handling are preferred.
- Experience with Databricks, data pipelines, Elasticsearch, Redis, Docker, or Kubernetes is preferred.
