Base Salary
$145k - $203k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy end-to-end AI/ML pipelines supporting scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, scope control, and program management.
- Manage data collection, preprocessing, labeling, and data outputs.
- Develop LLM-integrated systems with memory and retrieval-augmented generation capabilities.
- Integrate AI models into production environments, optimize performance, and implement automation.
- Coordinate production engineering changes, schedules, and incorporation plans for vehicle and production systems.
- Coordinate across engineering, production, supply chain, project management, and design functions to resolve non-conformances and support value engineering.
- Work with supply chain to ensure purchase requests and purchase orders are fulfilled on time and develop related metrics.
- Lead multifunctional studies addressing risks to program cost and schedule.
- Coordinate certification and qualification roadmaps with engineering Responsible Engineers.
- Develop content for Weekly Business Reviews and Program Management Reviews.
- Coordinate certification documentation across subsystem Responsible Engineers and Technical Project Managers.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 10 years of industry experience in launch-system engineering development and/or operations.
- Strong AI/ML foundation and software engineering skills or hands-on experience with LLMs and AI agent frameworks.
- Experience leading system-level technical trade studies.
- Demonstrated program or project management experience.
- Preferred: 15+ years of launch-system engineering development and/or operations experience.
- Preferred: master’s degree in engineering and/or business.
- Preferred: experience across fluids, mechanical, and structures engineering domains.
- Preferred: ability to work with partially defined requirements and changing criteria.
- Preferred: Program Management Professional certification or participation in associated degree programs.
