Base Salary

$145k - $203k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy end-to-end AI/ML pipelines supporting scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, scope control, and program management.
  • Manage data collection, preprocessing, labeling, and data outputs.
  • Develop LLM-integrated systems with memory and retrieval-augmented generation capabilities.
  • Integrate AI models into production environments, optimize performance, and implement automation.
  • Coordinate production engineering changes, schedules, and incorporation plans for vehicle and production systems.
  • Coordinate across engineering, production, supply chain, project management, and design functions to resolve non-conformances and support value engineering.
  • Work with supply chain to ensure purchase requests and purchase orders are fulfilled on time and develop related metrics.
  • Lead multifunctional studies addressing risks to program cost and schedule.
  • Coordinate certification and qualification roadmaps with engineering Responsible Engineers.
  • Develop content for Weekly Business Reviews and Program Management Reviews.
  • Coordinate certification documentation across subsystem Responsible Engineers and Technical Project Managers.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • At least 10 years of industry experience in launch-system engineering development and/or operations.
  • Strong AI/ML foundation and software engineering skills or hands-on experience with LLMs and AI agent frameworks.
  • Experience leading system-level technical trade studies.
  • Demonstrated program or project management experience.
  • Preferred: 15+ years of launch-system engineering development and/or operations experience.
  • Preferred: master’s degree in engineering and/or business.
  • Preferred: experience across fluids, mechanical, and structures engineering domains.
  • Preferred: ability to work with partially defined requirements and changing criteria.
  • Preferred: Program Management Professional certification or participation in associated degree programs.
