Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, cross-functional teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Lead the design and implementation of complex full-stack features and contribute to strategic technical planning.
- Research, develop, optimize, and deploy GenAI solutions, including RAG pipelines, agentic AI systems, MCP implementations, and AI workflows.
- Build backend systems that use natural language to generate actionable queries and deliver AI-powered insights and recommendations.
- Develop web applications and APIs using React, NextJS, Python, Django, Django REST Framework, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure with Terraform, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Azure Search Service, and OpenSearch.
- Establish technical standards, secure coding practices, project structures, testing strategies, and release runbooks.
- Write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and address bugs, performance problems, and technical debt.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical guidance on integrating and using AI-powered solutions.
- Lead refactoring initiatives, participate in on-call rotations, and lead incident response when needed.
- Keep current with GenAI, LLM, agentic AI, cloud, DevOps, and full-stack development advancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, AI Engineer, or similar, including mentoring engineers and fostering technical growth.
- Strong proficiency in Python and AI libraries or frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.
- Demonstrated experience developing GenAI solutions and tools using LLMs, including NLP, RAG pipelines, and text generation algorithms.
- Strong full-stack development experience with React, NextJS, Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, modern React patterns, SQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with Azure Search Service or OpenSearch for semantic search implementations.
- Experience with Docker and distributed computing architectures.
- Preferred experience with agentic AI systems, Model Context Protocols, vector databases, semantic indexing, API gateway design, microservices architectures, AI security and privacy compliance, and monitoring tools such as DataDog.
- Ability to solve problems, learn quickly, conduct proof-of-concepts, explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders, and collaborate effectively.
