Base Salary
$98k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement technical solutions to business problems.
- Build scalable systems, including microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Develop and maintain both frontend and backend applications.
- Handle operational issues, production debugging, risk mitigation, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering, Product Management, Analytics, and Operations teams to deliver business value.
- Mentor junior developers and participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience building and deploying software using Java, Python, or Go, with TypeScript and React for frontend development.
- Strong understanding of SQL and database fundamentals, including schema design, indexes, migrations, and query optimization.
- Experience building API integrations and working with microservices or event-driven architectures.
- Experience developing across the full stack, including frontend and backend applications.
- Strong coding, debugging, and troubleshooting skills focused on clean, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
- Ability to manage priorities across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using AI tools to enhance software development workflows with sound judgment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, AWS experience or certifications, and knowledge of modern web standards are preferred.
