Responsibilities
- Design and develop resource scheduling systems for machine learning platforms supporting training, evaluation, and inference workloads.
- Optimize orchestration and scheduling of GPUs, CPUs, specialized accelerators, spot resources, co-located resources, and multi-cloud resources.
- Develop scheduling solutions for compute resources, RDMA networking, and storage in large-scale distributed clusters.
- Design workload scheduling across data centers, regions, and cloud environments for online services and offline batch jobs.
Requirements
- Completing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computing or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in one or more of Go, Python, or Shell scripting in a Linux environment.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture and ecosystem with hands-on experience in Docker, Containerd, Kata Containers, and Podman.
- Solid understanding of distributed-systems principles and experience designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience developing and operating machine learning systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with at least one of TensorFlow or PyTorch is preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of AI infrastructure, hardware/software co-design, high-performance computing, or ML hardware architecture is preferred.
