Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain business applications, APIs, integrations, and automation solutions.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, maintainable, secure software solutions.
- Develop APIs, event-driven integrations, middleware services, workflow automation, reusable components, and engineering patterns.
- Partner with Solution Architects to validate feasibility, manage implementation risks, and produce detailed technical designs.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code quality controls, deployment automation, secure coding, and vulnerability remediation.
- Provide Level 3 support, troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Monitor application health, performance, and reliability while reducing technical debt and improving platform stability.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools and contribute to AI-enabled features, automation, reusable AI patterns, and development guidelines.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, analysis, and business stakeholders in Agile ceremonies, planning, estimation, and backlog refinement.
- Mentor junior engineers through coaching, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, application development, or enterprise system integration.
- Experience owning and delivering business-critical applications and integrations.
- Experience working in Agile product teams with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar.
- Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and application support practices.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code, or equivalent.
- Understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, prompt engineering, and AI-enabled software delivery practices.
- Strong technical ownership, analytical problem-solving, communication, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous-improvement skills.
- Ability to coach engineers and balance delivery speed with quality, security, maintainability, and long-term business value.
