Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain business applications, APIs, integrations, and automation solutions for INPD, HR, and SHE domains.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, maintainable software solutions and deliver roadmap features.
- Develop APIs, event-driven integrations, middleware services, workflow automation, reusable components, libraries, and engineering patterns.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code quality controls, deployment automation, secure coding, and vulnerability remediation.
- Provide Level 3 production support, monitor application health and reliability, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, analysis, and business stakeholders through Agile planning, estimation, backlog refinement, and delivery activities.
- Mentor junior engineers through coaching, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Support responsible use of AI-assisted engineering tools and contribute to reusable AI engineering patterns and guidelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, application development, or enterprise system integration.
- Proven experience owning and delivering business-critical applications and integrations.
- Experience working in Agile product teams and collaborating with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications across the software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
- Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and application support practices.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code, and understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, prompt engineering, and AI-enabled software delivery.
- Strong technical ownership, analytical problem-solving, communication, cross-functional collaboration, coaching, and continuous-improvement capabilities.
