Responsibilities
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and expectations.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, well-architected Salesforce solutions.
- Lead technical design sessions and document solutions aligned with client objectives.
- Provide technical oversight and governance for Salesforce projects.
- Define and enforce coding standards and lead project code reviews.
- Oversee custom development, integrations, and data migration for Salesforce implementations.
- Debug project issues and deep-dive into technical implementation details.
- Participate in pre-sales discovery, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concept development when needed.
- Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations.
- Travel to client sites approximately 50–75% of the time.
Requirements
- Strong CRM experience and a solid Salesforce platform background.
- Senior leadership expertise and expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, and Community Clouds.
- Ability to design scalable, performance-driven solutions using systems architecture principles.
- Knowledge of design patterns, large data volume limitations, data sharing, and visibility considerations.
- Familiarity with SAML, SSO, OAuth, and platform authentication patterns.
- Experience with data integration tools and integrating Salesforce with business systems such as ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, and reporting systems.
- Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning, and deployment methodologies.
- Experience with Salesforce platform security capabilities including TLS and SSL.
- Expert experience defining system architecture landscapes, identifying gaps, and delivering solutions that achieve business outcomes.
- Strong background designing and developing large web-based systems or exposure to a complete software product lifecycle.
- Active Salesforce certifications or ability to obtain relevant certifications after hire.
- Relevant leadership, military, volunteer, extracurricular, or comparable experience may be considered in evaluating core competencies.
