Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, debugs, troubleshoots, and maintains secure, high-quality software solutions.
- Builds and supports React user interfaces and applications using system design knowledge and AWS.
- Creates architecture and design artifacts and ensures software code meets design constraints.
- Uses enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, while validating generated outputs.
- Analyzes large and diverse datasets to identify patterns and improve application coding practices and system architecture.
- Guides peers on responsible, secure, and effective use of AI in engineering workflows.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, React, UI development, and AWS.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and evaluating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Solid understanding of application resiliency and security practices.
- Preferred: familiarity with modern front-end technologies, CI/CD pipeline integration, and cloud technologies including AWS.
