Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, technology architectures, system interdependencies, and application stacks.
- Design, program, simulate, test, and validate automation products and processes.
- Build, maintain, and improve reusable automation frameworks and libraries across technology stacks and business lines.
- Create test plans, test cases, scenarios, and usage cases for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional testing.
- Develop automated testing tools and software validation processes and track test coverage metrics.
- Track defects, resolutions, bug fixes, risks, and deployment mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with Agile delivery teams, developers, project managers, clients, testers, and business subject matter experts.
- Support continuous deployment practices and perform backend/database programming for key projects.
- Document automation processes, test cases, debug data, code, and performance reviews according to Wipro standards.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience.
- Mandatory skill in Unix implementation and maintenance.
- Experience designing and executing automated functional, regression, performance, and software validation tests.
- Experience developing automation frameworks, reusable libraries, test tools, and technical specifications.
- Ability to perform backend/database programming for key projects.
- Ability to collaborate with development teams, clients, users, testers, and business stakeholders and communicate technical issues clearly.
