Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality desktop application components using modern C++.
- Implement scalable multithreading and concurrency solutions.
- Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks in complex desktop systems.
- Modernize and refactor legacy codebases.
- Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver stable and efficient software.
- Improve software quality, debugging practices, and system stability.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve development workflows when applicable.
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and engineering best-practice initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial experience in C++ software development.
- Strong expertise in modern C++ standards, including C++14, C++17, and C++20.
- Deep understanding of multithreading, concurrency, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience developing desktop applications.
- Practical experience with Qt.
- Experience with Make, Conan, and MSVC.
- Experience with CEF integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional engineering teams.
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
- Preferred: experience with AI-assisted coding tools and development workflows.
- Preferred: experience working in regulated software environments.
- Preferred: technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: German language skills.
