Base Salary
$139k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement, test, and optimize scalable services and tools that address performance and monitoring problems.
- Collaborate across Networking teams to build new products and services for developers.
- Support existing products and develop solutions to customer and product pain points.
- Improve tooling and engineering processes for robust, mission-critical software delivery.
- Help establish development and architecture best practices.
- Develop control-plane software, APIs, and DNS product offerings end to end.
Requirements
- Experience designing and developing full-stack applications involving databases and APIs.
- Experience leading work across multiple teams to establish API contracts.
- Experience deploying and operating Linux, including Ubuntu, on virtual and bare-metal hosts.
- Experience programming in Go and writing unit tests.
- Experience designing and developing high-performance systems.
- DNS and networking domain knowledge, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Experience with cloud development, containerization, and virtualization.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery.
- Bonus experience using gRPC for robust distributed systems.
- Bonus working knowledge of Temporal and Kafka.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
