Base Salary
$200k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build API-based products from the ground up.
- Design and implement low-latency, high-reliability APIs.
- Solve complex streaming problems and ensure consistent response normalization.
- Ship enterprise-grade infrastructure with features like rate limiting and audit logging.
- Instrument infrastructure for deep observability and real-time monitoring.
- Integrate AI-centered products with the core evaluation platform.
Requirements
- 4+ years of backend engineering experience, particularly in distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in Go and/or Rust with experience in high-throughput APIs.
- Familiarity with LLM provider APIs and their associated challenges.
- Solid cloud infrastructure skills, including AWS or GCP and Kubernetes.
- A product-oriented mindset focused on developer experience.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a startup environment.
