Base Salary
$169k - $305k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify testing approaches for proposed engineering changes.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and pipelines for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Create and maintain test plans and test cases covering relevant scenarios and edge cases for compute services.
- Write and maintain scripts for deployments, migrations, and rollbacks.
- Investigate complex issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers while promoting quality standards.
Requirements
- 12 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or its equivalent.
- Deep expertise in Python, Pytest, and microservices testing best practices.
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and SaltStack.
- Good Linux fundamentals, particularly performance tuning.
- Comfort with Bash, scripting fundamentals, and containerization tools such as Docker.
- Good networking fundamentals, including HTTP, TLS, TCP/IP, and DNS.
- Understanding of modern testing methodologies.
