Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and customers to understand challenges and inform software decisions.
- Design, test, code, instrument, and deliver new software solutions.
- Use data to measure performance, inspect systems, and drive decisions.
- Improve engineering processes and apply TDD, BDD, microservice, and vertical-slice approaches.
- Support live applications through proactive monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze systems and processes to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Mentor peers, learn from team members, and apply team processes and best practices independently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience with C#, modern relational databases, ASP.NET RESTful API design, and modern web UI frameworks or libraries such as Angular or React.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, plus an interest in modern technologies and design.
- Willingness or ability to learn Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD, Terraform, GitHub Actions, NoSQL databases, GraphQL, Azure, Docker, and Kafka.
