Responsibilities
- Translate complex business requirements into tailored technical solutions that accelerate customer value and cloud adoption.
- Lead enterprise technical discovery sessions covering success criteria, KPIs, milestones, and project risks.
- Guide the deployment of Neo4j AuraDB environments and self-managed clusters across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Design secure network architectures using private endpoints and IP allow lists.
- Implement system hardening, TLS/SSL termination, encryption at rest, enterprise SSO, RBAC, and least-privileged access.
- Architect data ingestion pipelines using bulk imports, stream processing, and Change Data Capture.
- Advise development teams on Neo4j driver optimization, connection pooling, retry logic, Cypher performance, and backup and restore planning.
- Help customers configure logging and metrics observability tools and deliver technical best-practice workshops.
- Create architecture diagrams, Architectural Decision Records, and next-step backlogs for customer handoff.
- Improve Neo4j’s global technical onboarding methodology using field insights and lessons learned.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solution Architect, Solution Engineer, Onboarding Engineering, Customer Success Engineering, or Technical Consulting.
- Hands-on production workload experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Deep proficiency in networking infrastructure, including VPC/VNet architectures, routing, peering, and PrivateLink or private endpoints.
- Hands-on proficiency with SQL or NoSQL databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with ETL or CDC platforms and data ingestion is preferred.
- Experience implementing enterprise IAM, including SSO with OIDC or SAML and RBAC design, is preferred.
- Linux administration, containerization, and orchestration experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or managed container environments is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with graph databases, ideally Neo4j, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, CloudWatch, or Splunk is preferred.
- Exposure to SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and data residency deployment patterns is preferred.
