Base Salary
$119k - $126k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software for embedded systems, products, and services.
- Apply C and C++ programming to embedded software development.
- Work with Linux, RTOS platforms, and hardware/software integration.
- Apply technical standards and methodologies in a regulated or defense-oriented environment.
- Provide technical leadership and support the success of other team members.
- Champion technology trends, new ideas, and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field plus five years of relevant experience, or a master's degree plus three years of relevant experience.
- Expert-level programming experience in C and C++; Python or Rust knowledge is preferred.
- Solid background in embedded software development, Linux, RTOS, and hardware/software integration.
- Familiarity with DO-178-compliant software engineering life-cycle experience or work in a regulated industry.
- Knowledge or familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes containerization.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at the time of hire.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and applicants must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
