Base Salary
$119k - $126k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software for systems, products, and services within a collaborative software team.
- Apply technical standards and methodologies to solve engineering challenges and improve development processes.
- Perform embedded Linux, RTOS, and hardware/software integration work.
- Provide technical leadership and help position team members for success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field plus at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Expert programming experience in C and C++; knowledge of Python or Rust is preferred.
- Solid embedded software development experience with Linux, RTOS, and hardware/software integration.
- Familiarity with DO-178-compliant software engineering life-cycle practices or experience in a regulated industry is preferred.
- Knowledge or familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes is preferred.
- A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at the time of hire.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
