Responsibilities
- Improve the coverage, efficiency, and efficacy of customer-facing and internal security services.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
- Develop plugins and integrations with public enterprise vendor APIs using push- and pull-based data sharing.
- Build secure, testable, efficient vulnerability and misconfiguration detection code.
- Develop endpoint vulnerability, network vulnerability, third-party feed, CIS benchmark, pipeline hardening, cloud configuration, and posture management capabilities.
- Develop security policies for cloud service providers.
- Work with operational teams to investigate unexpected results and improve detection efficacy.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and explore solutions.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience with one or more backend programming languages; Go, Python, or Rust is preferred.
- Strong understanding and application of secure software development practices.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code is an asset.
- Experience in operational or security engineering with a focus on vulnerability and misconfiguration detection tooling.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and test-driven development.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development and experience adopting AI tools effectively.
- Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7, or OpenVAS is a bonus.
- Experience with cloud configuration and security posture tools such as Azure Security Centre, AWS Security Hub, Sonrai, Cloudsploit, or Prisma Cloud is a bonus.
- Experience with vulnerability and penetration-testing platforms such as Nmap, OpenVAS, Burp, or Metasploit is a bonus.
- Experience with deployment automation tools such as Salt or Ansible is a bonus.
- Candidates must be based in Bangalore.
