Base Salary
$127k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain client-side, server-side, desktop applications, and services for mission-critical satellite systems.
- Design and implement APIs and web services for data exchange across platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to integrate capabilities for spacecraft communication.
- Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot, modify, and upgrade complex applications.
- Write clean, efficient code with thorough test cases and participate in code reviews.
- Document complex system designs and application workflows.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience leading projects and/or individuals in software development lifecycle tasks.
- Experience with CI/CD, code versioning, build automation, and test automation tools.
- Experience with Java.
- U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance are required.
- Preferred qualifications include 9 or more years of related experience for Level 4, or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
- Preferred technical experience includes GitLab, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Java EE, Maven, SQL, XML, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bash, REST, gRPC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Quarkus, Kotlin, Thymeleaf, Tailwind, Java Swing/FX, relational databases, Red Hat or Oracle Linux, Coverity, SonarQube, and microservices.
Benefits
- Summary base-pay ranges are USD $126,650–$171,350 for Experienced Level 3 and USD $158,100–$213,900 for Senior Level 4.
