Responsibilities
- Write scripts to automate pre-sales workflows such as BOM generation, network diagramming, and RFP/RFI response parsing.
- Build and maintain scripts for live zero-touch provisioning demonstrations and automated demonstration portals.
- Integrate Salesforce, CPQ, vendor portals, internal lab hypervisors, and other systems through APIs.
- Package solution designs as Git repositories, JSON payloads, and Ansible playbooks for implementation teams.
- Maintain internal code repositories, Infrastructure as Code templates, and automated proof-of-concept environments.
- Use LLM APIs to parse technical RFPs and generate technical documentation.
- Apply foundational knowledge of IP addressing, routing, firewalls, and telecom networking equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in network automation, scripting, DevOps, or heavily automated systems engineering.
- High proficiency in Python and strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, authentication methods, JSON, YAML, and XML.
- Hands-on experience with configuration management and provisioning tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Nornir.
- Experience using Git and collaborative platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
- Experience integrating or building with LLM APIs, including Anthropic Claude or OpenAI.
- Preferred qualifications include Cisco DevNet Associate, AWS Certified Developer, or HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certifications.
- Preferred experience includes Jenkins or GitLab CI pipelines applied to network infrastructure and knowledge of the OSI model, IP subnetting, routing, and firewalls.
