Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain solutions using Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Create stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
- Develop complex SQL queries and database-level business logic.
- Analyze and optimize queries and processes through query optimization and performance tuning.
- Diagnose and resolve performance and functionality issues across environments.
- Participate in integrations using REST APIs and SOAP services.
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting.
- Participate in code reviews and promote engineering and code-quality best practices.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and functional teams.
- Contribute to estimations, refinements, and technical solution design.
- Use Git and collaborative development processes.
- Provide technical guidance to other developers and lead development initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience with strong Oracle technology experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Proven experience developing stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
- Experience with complex SQL queries, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Oracle business logic and data processing.
- Experience debugging and resolving incidents, plus knowledge of data modeling.
- Experience with Git and agile methodologies.
- Ability to work autonomously and solve complex technical problems.
- Intermediate English at B1+ level and fluent Spanish.
- Preferred knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP services, Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms & Reports, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Fusion, Jenkins, Docker, CI/CD, deployment automation, and Oracle certifications.
