Responsibilities
- Develop innovative features and user-centric workflows for Lightspeed’s iOS hospitality POS application.
- Design and implement efficient iOS applications using SwiftUI.
- Maintain existing integrations and develop capabilities supporting expansion into new markets.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Team Leads, and cross-functional teams.
- Write automated unit and functional tests and uphold code quality and system reliability.
- Share iOS development best practices and contribute to continuous engineering improvement.
Requirements
- Advanced programming skills in SwiftUI.
- Good knowledge of Structured Concurrency, Blockchain, UIKit, Swift, SQLite, Core Data, and REST APIs.
- Good knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
- Experience writing automated unit and functional tests.
- Conceptual understanding of software design and code quality.
- Experience with local network communication and external hardware accessories such as payment terminals and printers is a plus.
- Experience using AI tools and implementing agentic workflows.
