Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative features and user-centric workflows for Lightspeed’s iOS hospitality POS application.
  • Design and implement efficient iOS applications using SwiftUI.
  • Maintain existing integrations and develop capabilities supporting expansion into new markets.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Team Leads, and cross-functional teams.
  • Write automated unit and functional tests and uphold code quality and system reliability.
  • Share iOS development best practices and contribute to continuous engineering improvement.

Requirements

  • Advanced programming skills in SwiftUI.
  • Good knowledge of Structured Concurrency, Blockchain, UIKit, Swift, SQLite, Core Data, and REST APIs.
  • Good knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
  • Experience writing automated unit and functional tests.
  • Conceptual understanding of software design and code quality.
  • Experience with local network communication and external hardware accessories such as payment terminals and printers is a plus.
  • Experience using AI tools and implementing agentic workflows.
