Responsibilities
- Design and modify reusable components for CBC/Radio-Canada digital platforms, including audio/video player components.
- Develop and coordinate front-end features with product owners, architects, and technical managers.
- Ensure application performance under high loads and maintain product quality and standards throughout execution.
- Participate in user-story development, sprint planning, retrospectives, code reviews, deployments, and Scrum activities.
- Propose solutions to technical challenges and stay current with digital-development trends.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- Experience developing complex, high-performance mobile applications and applications published on the App Store.
- Proficiency with Xcode, Git, and Swift.
- Experience with pull-request code reviews and programming patterns such as MVC, MVP, or MVVM.
- Ability to read, produce, and follow software architecture diagrams, including UML and sequence diagrams.
- Bilingual English and French spoken and written communication is mandatory.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles, SwiftUI, Combine, AVPlayer, CoreData, AlamoFire, CocoaPods, audio-video streaming, or additional programming languages is an asset.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, teamwork, critical-thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
