Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the native iOS application in Swift and SwiftUI.
- Deliver features across technical design, implementation, release, and post-launch iteration.
- Own code signing, provisioning, TestFlight distribution, App Store submission and review, phased rollouts, and crash triage.
- Implement automated testing strategies and iOS CI/CD pipelines using Xcode Cloud, Fastlane, or equivalent tools.
- Integrate mini-apps, payments, and virtual currency systems into the application ecosystem.
- Lead iOS architecture decisions involving modularization, dependency injection, navigation, and state management.
- Configure and optimize Xcode build graphs, Swift Package Manager dependencies, and modular targets.
- Build and maintain a SwiftUI component library and design-system implementation.
- Drive mobile observability through structured logging, crash monitoring, performance tracing, and release-health dashboards.
- Use AI coding agents and assistants daily, review AI-generated code, and build supporting context, tooling, checks, evaluations, and guardrails.
- Prototype and ship AI-powered features using Core ML, Foundation Models, and server-side LLMs.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with product, design, backend, QA, project management, Android, React Native, and distributed cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional iOS development experience with deep hands-on Swift expertise.
- Proven experience shipping commercial iOS applications that are currently live in the App Store.
- Strong knowledge of SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency, Combine, UIKit interoperability, and the Observation framework.
- Understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, unidirectional data flow, dependency injection, and state management.
- Experience with XCTest, Swift Testing, snapshot tests, UI tests, and iOS CI/CD release pipelines.
- Experience profiling performance, memory, and energy usage with Instruments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Daily professional use of AI coding agents or AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor.
- Experience with third-party integrations, REST or GraphQL APIs, and mobile SDK consumption.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and results-oriented capabilities.
- Preferred experience with widgets, App Intents, Live Activities, push notifications, deep linking, React Native bridging, or Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Preferred familiarity with StoreKit 2, Apple purchase entitlements, gaming ecosystems, virtual currency, payment flows, mobile security, open source, technical writing, or conference talks.
