Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions and lead teams through design and delivery.
- Develop and deliver customer-facing UI features using React, React Native, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design practices.
- Build and maintain micro-frontend implementations and translate product requirements, UX designs, and technical specifications into scalable UI components.
- Implement accessible UI components aligned with WCAG standards and ensure consistent, usable experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code and develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Integrate UI components with backend services through REST APIs.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers on requirements, feasibility, usability, and technical approach.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and improve code quality, tooling, and engineering processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects across development, testing, and production environments.
- Contribute to build, deployment, release, and CI/CD processes using GitHub-based workflows.
- Participate in agile and Scrum ceremonies and support predictable iterative delivery.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience is required; the educational information also states eight-plus years of application development experience.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive UI development, and React, including hooks and modern state management patterns.
- Experience translating design systems and UX artifacts into production-ready UI implementations.
- Experience implementing accessible UI components aligned with WCAG standards.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, such as Cypress.
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and using CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of performance optimization and web application security best practices.
- Ability to review product requirements, technical designs, and UX specifications and collaborate across engineering, product, and design teams.
- Strong communication, collaboration, code quality, testability, and automation skills.
