Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions while leading teams through design and delivery.
- Develop and deliver customer-facing UI features using React, React Native, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design practices.
- Build and maintain micro-frontend implementations and scalable, maintainable UI components.
- Implement accessible interfaces aligned with WCAG standards and consistent user experiences.
- Integrate UI components with backend services through REST APIs.
- Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Participate in code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and improve code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects across development, testing, and production environments.
- Contribute to build, deployment, and release processes through GitHub-based CI/CD workflows.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers on requirements, UX, feasibility, and technical approach.
- Drive improvements in engineering practices, tooling, and team processes.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience is required; the posting also states eight-plus years of application development experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Software Engineering, 15 years of full-time education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive UI development, and React, including hooks and modern state management patterns.
- Experience translating design systems, UX artifacts, and technical specifications into production-ready UI implementations.
- Experience implementing accessible UI components aligned with WCAG standards.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, such as Cypress.
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and working with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of UI fundamentals, performance optimization, web application security best practices, and Agile/Scrum product-team practices.
- Ability to review product requirements, technical designs, and UX specifications and provide technical feedback.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and design teams.
