Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain high-performance Java applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship features.
- Write clean, efficient, testable code and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance.
- Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party services.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and support.
- Stay current with technologies, frameworks, and development methodologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Java Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Framework including Spring Boot and Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and multithreaded programming.
- Experience with GE Reliance, GE XA/21, or similar energy management or industrial control platforms.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker or Kubernetes; JavaScript, React, or Angular; CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools; and energy management, industrial automation, or SCADA/EMS domains.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.
