Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and implement embedded software solutions using C++ for flight display and aerospace products.
- Implement Linux services to port applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver reliable, high-quality software.
- Create software documentation and user manuals.
- Address real-time concurrent execution challenges in multicore environments while complying with DO-178B guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- At least 2 years of software development experience, including internships and project work.
- Strong understanding of embedded C++.
- Experience with software development tools and version control systems.
- Understanding of operating system concepts and familiarity with build and debug toolchains.
- Ability to work with real-time, concurrent processes in multicore environments.
- Preferred experience developing user interface, display, or EFIS software for safety-critical real-time embedded products.
- Preferred experience developing aerospace embedded-system applications and designing software for multicore environments.
