Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain core flight management software for next-generation avionics systems.
- Implement software meeting performance, security, reliability, and certification requirements.
- Participate in requirements and code reviews and improve software quality and development practices.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, test, and certification teams to deliver integrated software solutions.
- Support software integration, testing, and debugging in laboratory environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects throughout the development and integration lifecycle.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience is required.
- Strong C++ or object-oriented programming skills are required.
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics is valued.
- Familiarity with avionics development lifecycles and experience with requirements or modeling tools are valued.
- Candidates must be a U.S. Person or have the ability to obtain export authorization.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.
