Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support cloud-based integration and data transmission solutions using AWS and modern development practices.
- Set up, support, monitor, and troubleshoot external data transmissions for business clients.
- Diagnose and resolve complex transmission incidents while communicating findings, recommendations, and risks to leadership.
- Develop automation, tooling, and services that enable secure and reliable data exchange with external partners.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines for repeatable, scalable, and governed deployments.
- Modernize legacy MFT and batch integrations toward API-driven, event-based, and serverless architectures.
- Collaborate with application, security, networking, business, and external partner teams on integration architectures.
- Support production transmission environments and participate in a rotational off-hours on-call schedule.
- Maintain DTS policies, standards, documentation, and operational runbooks.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, technical documentation, coding standards, modernization initiatives, and proofs of concept.
- Ensure solutions meet security, risk, compliance, encryption, authentication, logging, and monitoring requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship through design reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Experience modernizing legacy MFT or batch integrations to cloud-native architectures.
- Familiarity with Axway B2Bi, Sterling Connect:Direct, AWS Transfer Family, or similar platforms in AWS, Azure, hybrid, or cloud environments.
- Knowledge of Python, Shell, Java, and SQL scripting or programming.
- Foundational understanding of the ITIL Framework and familiarity with ServiceNow or similar platforms.
- Experience building or consuming REST APIs and event-driven integrations.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Experience working with mainframe technology.
- Experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments, with financial services experience preferred.
- Exposure to cloud observability tools for logging, tracing, and metrics.
- Ability to work onsite Tuesday through Thursday in Malvern, Pennsylvania, or Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Ability to participate in rotational off-hours on-call coverage.
