Responsibilities

  • Design and define scalable, secure, and performant software architectures for enterprise applications.
  • Lead technical design reviews and architecture decisions across multiple projects.
  • Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and platforms and recommend solutions aligned with organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with product management, development, operations, and other stakeholders to maintain architectural alignment.
  • Establish architectural standards, coding guidelines, and best practices across development teams.
  • Mentor software engineers and provide technical guidance on architecture, design patterns, and implementation.
  • Document architectural decisions, system designs, and technical specifications.
  • Translate complex business requirements into comprehensive technical solutions.
  • Oversee implementation of architectural standards and conduct code reviews.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and performance bottlenecks.
  • Drive GenAI projects, rapidly build POCs and MVPs, and scale successful solutions.
  • Build agent-based solutions using tool-using agents and workflows.
  • Contribute pragmatically across the full stack and support cloud deployment, observability, and CI/CD practices.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of professional software development and engineering experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software architecture or senior technical leadership.
  • Strong expertise in software design patterns, system architecture, and enterprise application development.
  • In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems design.
  • Experience with API design, RESTful services, and integration patterns.
  • Understanding of relational SQL and non-relational NoSQL database design.
  • Knowledge of secure software design principles and security best practices.
  • Proficiency in one or more of Java, Python, or C++.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to mentor and lead technical teams.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Google SDKs; experience with AI and GenAI solutions.
  • Strong development fundamentals, debugging, API integration, Git, code reviews, testing basics, CI/CD, Terraform, and GCP deployment and monitoring concepts.
  • Experience or willingness to learn agent orchestration, tool and function calling, workflow state management, retries, error handling, and evaluation.
  • Preferred experience includes performance optimization, scalability patterns, Python, Streamlit or lightweight web UI development, Terraform, GitHub Actions, containers, MLOps, ADK, and LangGraph.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, stakeholder management, self-learning, and initiative-taking skills.
