Base Salary
$226k - $271k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software applications using the company technology stack.
- Build frontend web applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern frontend frameworks such as server-driven UIs.
- Develop scalable backend services using Java or Go.
- Work with relational databases and SQL, including data modeling and query optimization.
- Build software components that integrate into fully functional software systems.
- Apply technical knowledge to evaluate complex data, developments, and projects and recommend solutions to technical issues.
- Improve business operations and engineering productivity.
- Resolve production issues through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system reliability improvements.
- Optimize web application performance, including frontend rendering and backend response latency.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborative development workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field plus four years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation, or a master's degree in one of these fields plus two years of experience.
- Experience with frontend web development using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern frontend frameworks such as server-driven UIs.
- Experience building scalable backend services using Java or Go.
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including data modeling and query optimization.
- Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals, service reliability, scalability, and performance considerations.
- Experience using Git and participating in code reviews and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience with software testing and debugging, including unit and integration tests.
- Experience with client-server communication, JSON-based data exchange, and error handling.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving production issues in web applications.
