Responsibilities
- Design, operate, and support infrastructure systems across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Enhance multi-cloud capabilities of dbt Cloud by bringing cloud infrastructure expertise.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Release Engineering, Product Engineering, and Security teams to improve developer experience.
- Utilize tools and languages like Terraform, Kubernetes, Python, and Bash for infrastructure management.
- Automate tasks to reduce manual toil and streamline operations.
- Identify and implement optimizations to reduce cloud spending while maintaining reliability.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms and related tools.
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably with Terraform.
- Strong automation skills and a passion for reducing manual tasks.
- Experience working in a fully-remote, distributed team with excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting is a plus.
