Responsibilities
- Design and build systems and tools that support Jane Street across trading, accounting, infrastructure, and other critical areas.
- Implement foundational infrastructure such as network monitoring and risk models.
- Use OCaml as a primary development language and Python for research, trading, data analysis, visualization, and machine learning work.
- Leverage, expand, support, and contribute to open source projects including Mercurial, the OCaml compiler, and OPAM.
Requirements
- Be a top-notch programmer with a love for technology.
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity, collaboration, and eagerness to learn.
- Prior experience in functional programming, OCaml, Python, finance, or another specific field is not required.
